So basically I basically have this craving problem.

I exercise often and eat healthy most of the time

I'm 19 and live at home with my parents and my house is just full of a million different types of chocolate and junk food items. And when I am at home they are constantly being offered to me (mainly in the evening after dinner) by my parents, because the eat chocolate every night.

I know I'm not hungry I make sure I have a big dinner so I shouldn't feel like eating something, but 7 out of 10 times, they cravings will start and I will end up eating something small then something else and this continues until I'm really annoyed with myself.

Even if I'm not near my parents or the any food I just feel like I have to eat something even if I'm not hungry.

I sometimes go a few days but then the cravings get too strong and they get to me.

I need some help please? I need to loose a few kgs before summer.

This has been going on for far too long and I need some tips to get me through.

Thanks in advance, Ben

I wouldn't even make sandwiches with it because it's too good. It's more of a 'eat it alone as a snack' cheese.
What's your favorite?

One of my friends recommended I try Spam since I've never had it before. If I overlook the fact that it probably causes cancer, it actually tasted pretty good. I had the bar set really low so maybe that helped, that and it's loaded with salt which probably covers up the bad taste. But overall, I'm somewhat impressed.

So first of all, I'd like to say that I'm new to the forum..
I'm a 18 years old guy, I'm 6"1 tall, and I'm 178 lbs heavy.
I recently successfully stopped smoking and drinking, so I'm like totally clean from all the odds and I decided to start putting most focus and effort into my body, as corny as it seems, I'm hard-headed and persistent, with the right diet and training, I shall achieve whatever I want to.

I'd like to ask for some advice on cardio/strenght training. I've been to gym for 3 months, but I feel way more comfortable and better doing home exercises and cardio.

I'd need some help from somebody here with setting up my schedule for my training, I have every single day free till september, and I want to put all my work into my body.

First of all I need a good diet and a training to match to gain some weight, I'd personally like to gain 10 to 15 kilos, I put priority into gaining some weight first over doing anything else.

So what are your diet/exercise suggestion to me?
I repeat I have a month of free time to put into my body, so that means I'll whatever just to gain some weight first, than do some strenght training.

THanks.

So, I used to weigh around 305 pounds back in February and I am down to 255 now. I have been dieting and exercising since then and feel like I maybe...

So, I used to weigh around 305 pounds back in February and I am down to 255 now. I have been dieting and exercising since then and feel like I maybe plateauing. Overall i would just like to lose weight and get cut. I am 22 years old, 6'4.

My first concern is my diet. I used to do atkins and now have switched over to a diet that has me eating around 2800 calories a day. I usually eat two cups of cereal for breakfast, a sandwich with wheat bread, 4 peices of turkey/ham, 2 peices of cheese, lettuce and a tbsp of mayo for lunch. Ill have a protein shake with a cup of OJ, half a cup of strawberries, half a cup of blueberries and half banana, with two scoops of protein after i workout. And for dinner ill usually have chicken/steak/burger, with salad and another vegetable, or some beans.

If anyone has any recommendations of what i should add/remove please let me know.
I currently use GNC whey protein and heard thats protein meant for bulking up, any recommendations for other protein for me to use? I just need something to help my muscles recover, not get big.

I have been lifting weights 5 days a week for 3 solid months now. I started off with generic monday-chest, tuesday-back...etc etc.

I have moved onto the following workout

Monday
-Bench press-4 sets 10,10,10,8 reps
-Incline press machine-3 sets of 10-super set with the exercise where I bring cables up from my feet to make my hands touch in front of my face
-incline flys superset with seated fly machine-3 sets of 10 each

-Barbell Bicep curls-3 sets of 8
-Dumbell curls-3 sets of 8
-In and out curls - 3 sets of 8
-hammer curls - 3 sets of 8

Tuesday
Back
Bent over Rows with Barbell-4 sets of 10
Machine Pulldowns superset with seated rows-3 sets of 10
Seated Deltoid flys superset with an exercise where I use a pulley machine and with one hand pull it head height back towards butt…it works the back well, cant think of the name-3 sets of 10
Cable Pulldowns super set with Lawnmowers- 3 sets of 10
Shoulders
Shoulder press super set with dumbbell shrugs-3 sets of 10
Upright Rows super set with side raises 3 sets of 10
Machine shrugs-3 sets of ten

Wednesday
Legs
Squats 4 sets of 10
Leg curls 3 sets of 10
Leg extensions 3 sets of 10
Leg press 3 sets of 10

Tri’s
Closegrip bench-4 sets of 10
Overhead extensions-3 sets of ten
Nose Breakers-3 sets of 10
Tricep Pulley Pull downs-I do 10 normal grip then 10 reverse grip..i do 3 sets of this.
Thursday
-Incline Barbell Bench press-4 sets 10,10,10,8 reps
-bench press machine-3 sets of 10-super set with seated flys
-Dips superset with the exercise where I use a pulley machine and bring cables from above my head and down in front of my chest-3 sets of 10 each

-Barbell Bicep curls-3 sets of 8
-Dumbell curls-3 sets of 8
- Hammer In and out curls - 3 sets of 6
-Isolated Bicep Curls on the Block - 3 sets of 8

Friday
Back
Dead lift-3 sets of 10
Machine Pulldowns superset with seated rows-3 sets of 10
Seated Deltoid flys superset with an exercise where I use a pulley machine and with one hand pull it head height back towards butt…it works the back well, cant think of the name-3 sets of 10
Cable Pulldowns super set with Lawnmowers- 3 sets of 10
Shoulders
Arnold press super set with dumbbell shrugs-3 sets of 10
Front Raises super set with cable side raises 3 sets of 10
Machine shrugs-3 sets of ten

I try to ab ripper X 3 times a week but usually do it twice.

Basically I wasn’t sure if anyone has any recommendations for my workout. If I am perhaps working out too much and not allowing my muscles to rest enough?

And lastly Cardio
I have recenty included cardio. I have been running for 30 mins a day on Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sundays. I do interval training where I do 2 minutes of running and 2 minutes of walking. I make sure I do a lap every two minutes, so I end up running two 8 minute miles and walk around a mile – a mile and a half. I used some online calculator and found out that that 30 minute cardio would allow me to burn around 400 calories and that my exercises would let me burn between 300-350 calories a day. I donno if this is accurate or not.

So again im 22 years old, 6’4 255 pounds. I am trying to lose weight and get cut, ideally I am aiming for 230 pounds. I do not know if anyone would know my body fat % or would know what weight I would need to be to start getting the results I want, but any input would be helpful.
Any input on my diet, weight lifting, cardio would be very much appreciated. Should I eat more or less? Should eat certain foods more or less? Should I lift more or less? Should I run more or less? Should I consume less than 2800 calories.
I take a daily vitamin and GNC whey protein, any recommendations for supplements or new protein powder for me to use?

I know I have put a lot into this post, but anyone who takes their time to help me, I would highly appreciate it. Thanks
-Joe
